Sunshade while playing golf ?

Subject: Sunshade while playing golf ? Wed Mar 10, 2010 4:19 am

I love my Oakley Sunshades as it protect my eyes etc, but sometimes i find it to be in the way of my swing....as it shade the glare, it also shade the ball, thus when i hit my ball sometimes it may miss the sweet spot.

Now i only wear while driving the buggy and before each shots i will take it off. If you see me wearing my oakley for 18 holes than that day temp is around 36deg. ! Shocked

Do you war your sunshades to play ???

Same. I only wear it when driving buggy.
Wear when stroking not shiok.

Now I also understand why my score go up and down... I wear the sunshades on top of my specs!!!

I tried wearing my golf sunglasses but it doesn't work as the focusing is affected when I swing and when I perspire the lenses fogged up Sad

so no more sunglasses...hehehe Razz

i find it ok to wear it during game!! really afraid of cataracts in the later years due to too much sun exposure!!!

I try not to take it off because i worried the buggy will cause scratches to my glasses when i leave it inside.

I always play with shades. Can't do without them!

Oakleys are great. Sundogs are good at their price too!

I wear it only on a hot sunny day... Doesn't seem to affect my driver... with or without it, I only hit 100m...
I use a Rudy Project.. Smile

Not only ladies on board....maybe some young teenage golfers going to join us....but once the parent look at the forum, not knowing us in person may think that we're a bunch lau tiko...and forbid his/her daughter/son to join us...if that occurs, we have a big problem... pale

I think it's ok as long as it's controlled and do not go too over board till it's offensive. Separating threads by gender would only promote an anti-social environment n that is against the purpose of a forum. I believe all of us are adults and have heard many colourful descriptions in Singapore.
Of course it's the basic responsibility of every member to have respect to others in such a community. Most importantly, if the ladies in this forum is offended in anyway, do raise a note and give the kind gentleman a chance to apologise.
