| I think when half set, you force yourself to have course management, you cannot chiong, can only lay up, hence play better.
If you ask me, a full set will definitely play better than half set. Just need to do course management and don't over swing.
Just my 2 cents. | |

| I have tried this before and was very surprised to discover that there was no significant difference in my score when I brought half set versus full set.
Can someone try this and let me know it is the same for u? Of course I assume this may not hold true if u are playing high 70s or low 80s.

| Just saw one episode of Birdie Buddy (Korean Drama)... There is one match where they can only choose three clubs. Player A: 3 wood, PW, putter. Player B: Driver, 6 iron, 56 degree...
Player B uses driver as putter using Adam Scott putting style (long putter)...

| Been having a '3 clubs' tournament annually in Yangon (since i'm started golf in 2007) and putter is included in the '3 clubs'. Frankly speaking the score didn't change much as compared to a full set. The winner of the tournament are alway scoring low 80's.
Maybe should have 1 extreme '3-clubs' tournament in RDG calender annually.

| 3 club game. This is interesting. A twist to the game, it definately shows well a person take and do to meet the score.
