For this tournament arrangement, I think Golfman need to liaise with the Malaysian organizer frequently, talk to every participant and collect RM from each and every one of us (17 participants or maybe more), drive across to JB bank to deposit the RM into the organizer's account & so on so forth...

All for nothing but the love for GOLF.....A selfless attitude which is the hallmark of RDG!!

Golfman will be collecting the participation fee of RM248 tonight, Friday, 27 Apr at Toa Payoh Driving Range (central location for everyone) from 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

Please note that participation is only confirm if payment is made in full by tonight.

Format of play & entry criteria
A. Participation - The tournament is opened to all Amateur players with a valid MGA/NHS Handicap. Golfers who have qualified for the grand final are not allowed to participate in the remaining qualifying legs.

B. Mode of Play - Individual Stableford, with 2 Overall Gross prizes.

C. Handicap - Players must own a Valid & latest MGA/NHS Handicap, Maximum handicap for men is 24 & 36 for ladies.

D. Requirement - All participants are required to play with only SRIXON balls (any range) and wear Cleveland Cap (as provided in the goody bag) during the tournament.

E. Program of the day - (WM) Registration & Breakfast: 0645hrs, Tees-off: 0730hrs- Shot-gun, Lunch: 1230hrs followed by Prize Presentation.
(EM) Registration & Breakfast: 0615hrs, Tees-off: 0715hrs- Shot-gun, Lunch: 1200hrs followed by Prize Presentation.

Tournament rules
Organization - The tournament is organized & Managed by CSSB Events S/B and conducted according to the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A Rules Limited and the Local Rules of participating golf clubs. The decision of the Tournament Committee is final in the event of any disputes regarding the play within the tournament.

Participation - The tournament is opened to all Amateur players with a valid MGA/NHS Handicap. Golfers who have qualified for the grand final are not allowed to participate in the remaining qualifying legs

Handicap - All Participants shall be assigned a handicap of the day based on their USGA indexes against the slope rating of that club. Participants may not adjust their handicap unless verified by their latest MGA handicap card.

Failure to declare the latest handicap at any time may result in disqualification. Men shall play off the Blue tees and women off the red tees unless otherwise specific. Maximum Handicap for men is 24 and 36 for ladies.

Mode of Play - Individual Stableford, with 2 Overall Gross prizes.

Medal - The field for the day will be divided equally into 2 medals (A & B) based on USGA index (verified by MGA) of 120 players and will be determine a day before the tournament.

Rewards and Prizes - The Champion & 1st Runner up of the gross category and the Stableford Champion of the A Medal of each leg will qualify to the Grand Final. There will be 4 main prizes awarded in each Medal A & B. Novelty prizes: Nearest To Pin, Nearest To Line, Longest Driver, Sure To Win Hole-In-One, Hole-In-One and Lucky Draws.

The organizer reserves the right to replace any of the prizes (without altering the retail value of the prize) as deemed fit without consultation with the winner.

Hole-In-One - A Honda CR-Z worth more than RM115,000.00* Sponsored by MPIB is nominated for 1 designated Par 3 in all the 11 preliminary legs and the grand finals, if there is more than 1 achiever, the prize shall be shared equally. *Without OTR and insurance.

Amateur Status - (Rule 3-2.a – General Rules of Amateur Status) An Amateur golfer must not accept a prize (other than a symbolic prize) or prize voucher of retail value in excess of 500pounds or the equivalent. The Organizer is duty bound to inform the national sanctioning body the details of the winner who receive prizes exceeding the abovementioned amount. Cleveland, Srixon & CSSB and its sponsors shall not be liable for any action taken on participants for any breach of Rules pertaining to Amateur Status.

OCB - All ties shall be decided on count back over the last 9 holes on the card, the last 6 holes, the last 3 holes and the last hole in that order. If the tie is still undecided, the lower handicap shall take precedent and finally on a hole by hole basis from hole 17 to hole 1.

Grand Final
1) The 2 best gross winners and Stableford Champion of A medal from each leg will qualify to take part in the Grand Final in Bangkok from 18 – 21 September, 2012 (tentatively). Players who withdraw from the Grand Final for whatever reason shall not be reimbursed by any form, cash or otherwise.

2) The package to the Grand Final includes KUL-BKK-KUL tickets on economy class, twin-share hotel accommodation for 3 nights, transfer in between Bangkok Airport, hotel & golf club, and 2 rounds of golf. Return air travel from EM to KLIA/LCCT - For EM winners only.

3) Finalists may be required to bear the cost for airport tax, fuel surcharge, insurance and other miscellaneous charges which is not included in the above package and will be duly informed before the grand final takes place.

Winners Eligibility - ALL STAFF of Cleveland, Srixon and her associate companies, CSSB and her associate companies, sponsors and hosting club of Cleveland Srixon CSSB Open 2012 will not be eligible to win any prizes except for lucky draw prizes when participating in the tournament.

Weather - In the event that the tournament has to be abandoned due to unfavorable weather condition, then the tournament committee can decide on the distribution of prizes and their decision is final.

Liability - Cleveland, Srixon, CSSB Events S/B and her sponsors will not be responsible for any loss, damage or harm, or any form of injuries that the golfers of the tournament may suffer as a result of participation in this tournament.

Publicity - Cleveland, Srixon and CSSB Events S/B reserves the right to advertise the details of the winners in any form as deem fit by them including the golfer name, photographs and quotations.

Attire - Golfers are expected to be properly attire as required by the golf clubs. Golf Shoe with only soft spikes is allowed at all golf clubs.

Slow Play - The attention of all competitors is drawn to the Rules of Golf 6-7 governing undue delay. In the interest of fair play, the committee will not hesitate to impose the penalties set out by the rule.

Score Cards Submission - All participants are required to submit their signed scorecard immediately after completing the 18-hole game. Any delay in submitting scorecard 10 minutes after the last flight came in, will results in disqualification.

My Dear Brother and sisters....

As I realized that most of kakis will not be able to meet up at Toa Payoh Driving Range tonight. I therefore cancel tonight arrangement for the collection.

I am sincerely requesting to settle by this weekend. As I will be arranging to drive into JB on next Monday or Wednesday.

When? Where will be the best place and time? Kindly advice. Thank you.
