| Dear bros & sis,
I would like to extend a warm round of applause for all participants in this Gen X versus Gen Y Challenge. Namely:
1. UL 2. Silver 3. Waybalegolf 4. Toni Er (Waybalegolf's friend) 5. Sonny (UL's friend) 6. Prettygolf 7. Oldmangolfer 8. Nix 9. TDO (me)
For those who registered but were disappointed because they were unable to join eventually due to work or other commitments, no worries. Work is always more important than play. The course is always there waiting for you, whenever you are available and free to play.
Nevertheless, I must say, in my personal opinion though we repeat the same 18 holes at Poresia, please let me extend my apologies due to the screw up by my home club.
As I was told by Poresia's booking office, one 9 will be closed for maintenance in the morning and another 9 will be closed in the afternoon. This should make playing the 36 holes still possible. Unfortunately, on arriving we were told on the day of play (yesterday) that the New Courses (Hibiscus/Bougainvillea) has been entirely booked by a Korean Academy. For this I am truly sorry, again.
I hope all who participated in this Challenge thoroughly enjoy this special outing. I am sure there will be more to come.
During our chit-chat at yesterday's dinner at Tian Lai, Prettygolf will soon be organising the next outing. This time I hope more bros and sis can participate to make it even more enjoyable and merry.
To Sonny, I must say you looked like a lobster after the game. As for me, I too, looked like one after 18 holes. On concluding the 36 holes, Toni said I looked like an over-burnt lobster. Haa! Haa! And what do you know, my wife paid the same "compliment" when I reach home.
Please accept my apologies for things that has not gone right as it is my first time organising such a social event.
