JS, different people will have different swing mechanics, it may work for some and not others. Try it out yourself and give us the feedback.
If you don't have the slice problem, don't bother to change it.
I saw some PROs, their driver position is indeed forward unlike those traditional teaching, behind the ball.
Understanding the swing mechanics will help you to rectify your fault on the spot.

Have u tried it??? Wanted to go range this evening but had to OT and still cannot finish work. Maybe Friday I go n checku checku.
Aiya. My irons takes awhile to warm my and fall into place at range everytime. Need almost 20balls before I can click. Can't seem to understand y. Maybe it's the see so many balls, not discipline theory. But I try to focus hard and practice every swing twice before hitting leh. But still tameh.

Golf is like cycling, you need to train your body to learn the balance and the mechanics before you can master it. How to master cycling? You keep trying even if you fall over and over again, right? After some practice, you will get the techniques.
So is golf, you need to practice and get use to the golf swing which is quite difficult to master. When you more or less used to it, you will be at intermediate level. To go further, you will need to know the difficult stunts which is like back spin, control draw and fade shots, etc.
Golf is slightly more difficult to master as it demands accuracy and precision. So what does that mean? It means need more practices.

I had tried this stack n tilt method before! They focus to keep the weight on the left leg instead of weight transfer from left to right then back to left. My boss is a film believer of this method. Their teaching is quite different from what we learn here. It does not really work for me!
i read a book from David Leadbetter: to cure slicers, keep the weight mainly on the right leg, body tilted to right during address and swing easy! It's more simple and works for me (at last!).
Just my 2cents worth input!

In my opinion, to have more power, the weight should be on left leg upon impact. David Leadbetter's teaching is good for curing slicers but no power...
Btw, your avatar is getting more and more......

Yes, the weight will be on the left leg upon impact. But more weight on the right during address. Last time my slice is very bad...from bay 1 slice all the way to the right to bay 32!! But after trying this simple tactic, it helps! distance wise so-so...but straight lor!! i like i like...
