| Recently i have bought Burner driver Jap S-flex from Isetan. Went to JB course and try a couple of times at ranges, ball fly mostly on the right. Should I used back my old driver? | |

| Hi gezt_ho,
What is the main reason that cos you to change your driver? Are your tee-shots hooking to the left? Pandon me for asking as I need to know your old problem in order to advise the problem you accountered with new driver.
Cheers! | |

| u have to be a bit more specific... wat u mean by, right? Fade or slice or just a push shot?
Is your R7 draw also jap stiff? Your drive is always straight?
R7 draw is supposedly tip soft and outer weight basis to assist to closing the club face on impact, hence the name "draw". how effective it is, i dun know... burner should be a closed face driver, so a slice would likely to be swing fault.

| another possible scenario is:
the burner is typically longer by 0.5" over other drivers, such as the R7... swing weight is also heavier... so in theory, if using the same swing, the club face would be slightly open on impact, hence the slice.

possibly, your left hand is too lazy... and your right hand just follow-through and close the club face... try swinging the club with just your left hand, to get the feel...

| The club immediately starts on a plane "above" or outside the ideal plane
The club travels across the target line to the left through the ball

Cheers! Hm, reason is gain further distance for my tee off. I thought that jAP S-flex might suitable for me. Previously, my tee shot is quite straight( i mean when the shot is clean sometime and not always). Just that my right leg a bit behind to preventing the ball from slicing.

Im not too sure as im only a beginner.

Yes yes, you are right. Today just realise the burner is longer that R7.But i find it the swing weight is very light compare to my R7 draw, R7 quad. Do you mean i need to close face before hitting ?
