how the chatbox works?

someone do enlighten here ...

i 1st tried out msg and texting... but how i know members online at the same time in this forum, knows there is such msg??? Question

2 or more person need to log in to chat. Even u log into the forum, u still need to log into the chat again.

AT, you'll know they're online if there's a tag on their avatar with the words 'online' bounce

1. if, for example me login to the chatbox, i cannot browse the thread liao...
2. how would other member know there is someone in the chat box?

i think admin will do something. But till then, maybe a schedule need to out to get pple to use the chatbox. a schedule like what UL has posted....

I hope so...either a schedule or some kind of 'You're On The Air' slot so that more ppl will know 'it's time to go on the air' Smile

From experience with other forum, we need schedule to make this chat works.

I propose the following;
10am (tee break time)
3pm (tea break time)
7pm (after work)
10pm (before bed time)

The committee have actually brought up this chatbox during our last meeting, we will improve the chatbox functions and location so i is easy for everyone to see and join in.

Please give us some time to let our IT guy (who now in Bahamas playing golf and XXX) how the chatbox works? 16911
