So what do you suggest? Kindly show us your alternative design fast, as voting will close by this afternoon..

PW took her whole Sunday afternoon to come up the logo design for us for free....

Her design is her way of expression. And in creative art, there is no right or wrong design..Show a design to a thousand people and there may a thousand different response. It is her effort and willingness to help this forum that is commendable.

As we don't have fund and the luxury of time to hire outside designer to come up a logo design, we may have to make do on what we have now.

Look forward to everyone support.

my frank opinion - i find the logo, colour and design a little too complicated. and the initials (can't remember is it RTDG or RDTG) not easy on the tongue and not easy to remember... really appreciate the efforts, though i hope there's a simpler design..

I share same view. That is why i prefer design 5 and 8.

let's spend some more time to come up with a few more choices ok? as the final choice will be used for a long time.. so let's give a little more time... i try to post something up too..

the forum is for everyone and logo is for everyone too, you may wear it oneday.

so we should not let pw working alone in the logo design, members should help to give her some ideas so she can put in selected ideas in the logo to do a better design

my suggestion are the important elemets should be in the logo are the easy and friendly

anyway i do not think the committee should decide the logo in the hurry...
should get more feedback and suggestion from the members

Here is my suggestion. Golfers frequently put a red dot on their ball for identification. So a white golf ball with a red dot would be very appropriate. A small word RedDotGolfer somewhere near or on the golf ball like the brand should be enough to identify us.

Plse note Red/Pink balls are meant for ladies only.

PW, don't get angry with me for being 'ka poh'. I will buy you a drink when I meet you for your effort to start the logo design,

Great Job MS PW... I prefer the first one.. All three are
quite similar except no.1 has the flag which more less
reflect that the ball is boucing and rolling towards the flag/
pin which is what we golfers aim for.

I think many are quite happy with pw part2 design.

yup, i think we are getting somewhere... just a thought to seek you guys'/gals' opinion.. say when printing/embroidery on the t-shirt, it's gonna be quite a 'long' design... or we just use the 'red dot' and the words.. what u all think?

no worry in we are reg 2 type of logo long wan and only the ball wan it can be use 2 way up to u guys. me go sch liao byebye
