"playing the teeth"

This "playing the teeth" is an endangered art which is about to be lost forever. The show was performed by a 30-year old lady at a "Chinese got talent " contest. She inherited this family tradition at the age of 19 when no male family members would take it up. This is the first time I've ever heard of and seen such a performance.
