| Hi,
My last game in Poresia today is 93 off White (technically its blue), the feedback given by mates that my arrival is lacking of confidence and directions needs to be worked. Personally, I think he right. The ball keep going right and I was trying a fade. For shots that < 100m, I think myself unsure.
Can anyone help me with a regime and how can I improve my approval on greem on short irons?

| Within 100m in, i suggest you focus your 9i or PW. Take it like 100m par 3 shot with no water or sand. This will help you get on the green and regain your confident. Like Getz-Ho said to his shifu...It not how you drive, it how you arrive !!! | |

| I am also working on my GIR. My average GIR for last three rounds was 16.7%. Shots keep going to the left. I went to my coach and got three prescriptions. 1. Work on balance. 2. Pay attention to tension in the body. 3. Tempo.
Now I need to work on those in driving range but can only focus on one drill at one time without caring for ball directions. After finish the drills then hit balls with target.
The good thing is that those 3 stuff can be worked on at home.

| When your ball goes right, most of the time it is club face open. Why open? This, you will have to check it out.
I can think of the following possibilities; 1. never complete your swing - try to complete your swing 2. Body is faster than your hand - let your hand go faster than your body, let the hand lead your body 3. your body alignment - get some friend to help you see from behind 4. your swing - out to in, may need a coach to help you...
Just my 2 cents.

| Back to the same thread.......
I am 2nd guessing myself that the reason why I am fading a lot in my short approach is because the flex could be too soft and/or the weight of the shafts are too light.
If I play with another iron, it would be ok. Especially my 1050GH ns pro shafts.

| For irons, you don't need to hit like 110mph swing speed... easy swing will give you the same distance and better accuracy... you just play around with the different clubs...
