Unable to use my PC ...

Hi,

Just got email .... I cannot transfer my PC to use at NSRCC for handicap purposes.
Was advise to re-take all the test there. Any advise ?

Bro Edi, i think your PC not recognize. Where do you take your pc?

Bro_Edi, a lot of golf club will not recognise PC from other place... they will accept only in house PC. The reason is that they want to ensure the golfer go through proper rules/etiquette and handicap workshops or sometimes in-house rules, especially NSRCC.

Yo bro Edi ! If your Golf PC is not recognised as it not from NSRCC, than there is nothing you could do about it.

Just spoke to my kakis who is a Green committees and he said even you are a NSRCC members, you have to follow the rules and take a simple PC test with the Pro in NSRCC. 8)

Therefore if you are free play more par 3 at NSRCC especially the 1, 2,3 and 9 holes with number 3 and 9 holes have to cross water average 150m to 179m.

I won't be worry as i have seen you improved thru the months, so be brave and take the PC test and join us Big Boys at the 27 holes soon !

Alternatvely, do the HCAP with his current club, then Trf to NSRCC. That way, we only need to take the theory test and need not o thru the entire routine??? Possible??

I won't want bro_edi to spend more $$$ in his current club for his Handicap, imagine his PC don't recognised...what you think about his future HC ???

Best solution like a ball is OB, eat our medicine and add 2 strokes and carry on playing.

Taking PC at NSRCC is easy for current standard of bro_edi, even later he apply for HC test is not a major issue.

I strongly advice Bro_edi to do his PC and ROG in NSRCC as he already a NSRCC member.

I concur with UL, don't waste money to take handicap test elsewhere. It will not be recognised if you are not an official member of the issuing club. A few of my friends just fall into "the trap". They took the test at Ponderosa but hcp being refused to be transferred as they are not official members.

Since Bro_Edi already NSRCC member, go take the PC and courtesy round asap. Then can join the rest of the kakis.

My PC was from Keppel : ChilliGolf .
When playing at NSRCC exec course, I showed my PC and she never says anything.

Anyways,

I will follow UL advise and proceed with retaking all the test.
