What combination you have for wedges ?

I have a 52, 54, 56, 57 58 and a 60 degree wedge.

Now i woupd pick the two or three combination for the coming game. Once selected will range till it shine.......Like Changi game i would pick 52, 56 and 60 becos of the distance in from 100m, a chip in from apron and 60 for sand and to chip in.

Kranji i would have a Gap wedge 47, 52 and 54. Cos apron around the green need a firm chip with 54.

SICC course need 54, 57 and 60 becos of the elevated green.   

But may need to reconsider the bounce as last game with a good player who wear very colorfull attire and he taught me the bounce value of each wedge.  

What combination of wedge do you used for your game ??

Uncle Lau played for a lot of yrs Liao leh.. As he plays His old wedges 51 degs also bend to 54 Liao due to yrs of constant playing .. Jus like the creation of the Grand Canyon

Why so troublesome? Might as well get 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61. 62, 63, 64 to complete your collection.

If keep on giving him he wun learn one.. Will only pick beginners to vs nia
He shld be spending his time training instead of asking for strokes

I try choking down on 54 for low chip but guess need to prsctice more. 

I would prefer just 54 only. I use 56 only.

when did i dott?  dont remember i have any skill to impart to others .  i can only say the tm spider blade really helped in my putting.

mine previously was 48, 52, 56, 60 n 64.
now it is 50, 54, 58 n 64.

How come mine comes in alphabet P, G, A, S, L

Can i a beginner have the honour to help you with this. P G A S L are just certain golf company that market their product. But actually is + - 1 to 2 degree of this wedges.

* P means Pitching or 47

* G means Gap wedge or 52

* A means Approach or 54

* S means Sand or 56

* L meansd Lob or 58/60

 

3 yrs back only uses PW & SW tat comes w the set.  
Later exploit 52 & 58, 54 & 58
Current BV SM4 set, 53 & 60. And it make wonders w it... 

sorry ... I seldom post image so mess up a bit ....some repetition..

read this magazine and they compare a HCP6, HCP13, HCP24 using Wedge, 7 Iron, Putter to chip in and see how close it is..

Surprisingly 7 Iron using to chip appear to be performing pretty well...

But honestly, no one tell me they use 7 iron to chip before and I never try before too..

Do you guys agree that works ?

If the condition permits choke down and putt chip with 3 wood or hybrid with a florist touch..
Go try it.. Ohh one more thing to note weight placement and maintain yr loft throughout
