Customize a putter ? Necessary ?

Hi all again... sorry that I have post a no. of thread recently but really trying to work out something and trying to learn more from those experience golfer...

Do you guys customise your putter or buy of the shelf ?

How do you determine what length do you need etc ? 

When should you go for a this fitting ? I'm sure you have to develop your own swing before going for putter fitting or not necessary ?

how tall are u>? long torso or short torso?

longer hands than normal?

can jus go to SAM LAB for a putting analysis lor

then if decidefrom there if u need any adjustments to the head.. loft angle shaft lie..shaft length etc

or even putter head change to fit yr stroke

I don't customize mine but i tried alot of putters till i find one type suitable for my putting stroke. To date i have 3 types of putter. 

Yah steves so in short customize might save u money in the long run

As u try diff heads and diff configurations to suit yr stroke and body type

Before you customise, you have at least know what kind of heads you like i.e. Anser type - center, heel, flange and etc. Mallets and etc. Its also about the strokes, yr take away and take the shot

Putting is about feel, and the amazing fact is... feel will change.

Suggest that you try out those off the shelf first, see which type of feel you like before you go for customization.

UL... I'm not consistent one...that day might be the best form.... 

Still need more work on chipping and putting but might not have time....plenty of work coming in...

SteveS, once u got the right feel, puttg swing, putter length, its offset, toe balance, mid-straight, face balance etc...
Stay there n try not tryg others fr a long time being.
Bcoz if u itchy here there fr another putter made, you ll hve to repeat this setup again. Its tough, mate.
