W.I.M.P? PART 52

QUESTION:
In stroke play, Terrence plays a good approach shot to an elevated putting green. On arriving at the green, he holes a ball he thinks is his but as he bends down to pick his ball out of the hole he finds his original ball already there.

What is the ruling?
A) Terrence has played a wrong ball and is penalised two strokes on the hole being played.
B) Terrence played a wrong ball and is penalised two strokes on the next hole.
C) Terrence had completed play of the hole when the original ball was holed out and there is no penalty for subsequently playing a wrong ball.
D) Terrence must add a penalty of one stroke to his score with the original ball.

UL, maybe it happen to you often and you'll always add penalty strokes to your score. Otherwise, your score really in low-80's liao.....

Thanks for the tip KP...i hit others balls more often ...that why...in played low 80's after 10 holes.. 8)

ANSWER:
C) Terrence had completed play of the hole when the original ball was holed out and there is no penalty for subsequently playing a wrong ball. Decision 1-1/4.
Since the play of the hole was completed when the original ball was holed, the player was not in breach of Rule 15-3 for subsequently playing a wrong ball.
