Seletar Country Club Term Social Membership

A business associate ask me if i am keen to join Seletar term membership programme of S$1800 a year. No need to pay monthly fees. Only allow to play on weekday and green fees of S$96 (citation needed)

What you think guys ???? Now i played twice a week...NSRCC, OCC, SCC and SICC....

Dont think its value for money. Pay for term membership, yet still have to pay 96.

I might as well save it for it for weeks of golfing in Thailand...

Not worth, every game have to pay and also limited to weekday only.

Can check of you can bring guest to play ??? If they allow than it's quite alright to join. Come to think of this $150 per month allow you to bring friend and you dun pay full membership nor subscription . To play in Singapore averagely $120 per game it's quite reasonable.

If you can please let me know . I maybe interested.

Need not to travel here or there... Save alot of time lor....

As comparison, Join social membership of some clubs is better...

Like Warren, I paid $4k for social membership (life time), to play on weekday is $85(can bring 3 guests)... weekend is $100(but cannot book, can join flight), monthly subscription is $58...

If not happy, can still sell away membership and get back a little....

Why don go MBGC weekday play 80+ only? No need pay any annual or monthly membership fees. Or got time to go JB, all the good courses confirm below S$96 per game on weekdays be it AM or PM.

After playing in Thailand, i couldnt help but to think that we paid crazy prices for golfing...

A decent and normal course in BKK would been some where within 1100B to 1500. Probably about sg 60 ish. But here th4e cheapest is SG80+. In time to come, i think i will probably join UL in Bedminton games...

I tot you just told UL to include inflation?? Standard of living also differs from country to country... one cannot compare in such way... ultimately JB is still the cheapest...why play in Singapore then?

Bro Slinger, i bet to difference as both of us are going or already retired...our income is S$24K per year. we have family and parents in the future to look after.....if in the future rates for golf is going to rocket sky high...those lower income group will be badly hit.

Thats why now i try to played as much as i can....we don't know tomorrow...Lets play Golf !!!
