W.I.M.P? PART 88

Lately had a game with a join flight golfer, we name him Player AA.

He a nice chap but we noticed every shot he would bring two clubs out of his bag. he would than place one club infront of him ( The spare club is facing the target or Pin location, myself and salty looked many times from behind)'

Than he cont. and struck the ball.....

Is he penalized for placing a club infront of him and in line of target or a kind alignment for him to aim to target ???

What his penatlty of stoke and match play ??

8-2a/1 Club Placed on Ground to Align Feet

Q. A player places a club on the ground parallel to the line of play to assist him in aligning his feet properly. Is this permissible?

A. Yes, provided the player removes the club before playing his stroke. Otherwise, a breach of Rule 8-2a would occur.



Penalty for Breach of Rule:

Match play - Loss of hole;
Stroke play - Two strokes.
