Things lost in Batam!!!!!!!!!!!! Be WARNED!

So sad & angry with myself... Before I went to Batam, I heard my friends talking about losing balls.... towels.... gloves even; when they came back from Batam trip.

Yesterday, I found out i lost 3 xiao ding dang dolls that i've hanged on my golf bag !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not worth anything but still..... I ate 3 Mac Donald meals just to get those & I HATE MAC D....

I WISH THE HANDS OF THE ONE WHO HAVE TAKEN IT ROTS ROTS ROTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS along with the ass too

In my 1year7mth golfing, i lost a PING visor. Lost it in either Palm Resort or Villa(Can't remember). I clipped it on my golf bag after my game and i notice it was gone when i reach home.

Mine was a switch in golf clubs. I had a 56 but after the game, I got a 58??
At least I still hv 1 club back.

might be the caddy put the wrong club in the wrong bag lol.....

On Thursday I practice the driver in the range, all ok. On Friday morning on first tee, the driver head is broken. I strongly believe the caddies mishandled and broke my driver. Got no proof, so LL.

I do believe some are theft while some are pure careless mishandling. Especially traveling in Ferry, they will just throw your bag like some pillow case, as if it will never break.

I remember once, we went to Bintan, one of the golf bag was dropped in the sea while transporting out of the Ferry!

My deadest Maria....at least you are safe and come back to Singapore, your toys are small things, just let it go and move on cos life is worth living for !

lucky i have never been Batan to play golf. maybe one day i will go. then i need to carry my golf bag to boat if i go.

Ya I have heard of golf balls missing... that why whenever i go to batam or bintan i always use a travel cover.
So far so good nothing missing.

BUT i noticed that there are lot of golf bags on every weekend trip to batam or bintan. these golf bag are all stacked on top of each other. the sheer weight of these bag could ripped loose objects off the clips.


Dont forget that all these golf bags are loaded and unloaded 6 times for every trip....

So the chances of gloves or objects hanging in the clip being dislodged or ripped off is very possible.

Just my observation, hoped you are feeling better now....

If I'm not wrong, you're not allowed to carry your golf bag on board, all golf bags must be checked in Best thing to do is to have a protective golf bag cover with lock, this way your things are safe from the moment you put and lock them in the golf bag cover

It is worth investing in a golf bag cover as your favourite clubs, covers, umbrellas, towels are kept safely away from 'attentive eyes'. Also, many a times I noticed bags are thrown on the carousel without covers and irons are loose or about to fall out of the bag!

Totally agree. If you dun find it justifiable to invest on a travel golf bag cover, then u can ask around and see if someone can lend it to you... Dun risk it.

Travel golf bag cover is not that expensive! It's about $30-$50. The negative part is that it can be quite troublesome to put in n put out your golf bag inside it.

hee.. i've lost a sports watch which i blur blur dunno why clip on the golfbag.. and i've lost a 8 iron in batam golfing trips before... but i still go there!! cos i sort of think is my blurness for not making it theft-proof...
