Haha ... no la ... that would be causing death by a rash and negligent act if they hit by golf balls and died.. The Disciplinary Committee convened will hear both sides of the stories and come to a decision. Hopefully for NSRCC's sake , it will come to this.

Keep us posted. So what if you're a Pro or committee member, dangerous play is dangerous play, regardless of your status in the game of golf or club.

In NSRCC, when one is late for the round, he will join his flight in whatever hole they're currently playing.

Let's hope that NSRCC after listening to both sides of the story, will not take side simply because the offender is a committee member of the club.

Next time, if u encounter this kind of people in your flight u sld try to top ball, lost balls for every shots so that they get more frustrated than u. Then when they are infront of the fairway u purposely hit another shot to "warn" them, let them have a taste of their own medicine.

Doing this only lowers you to their level, why give them the opportunity to complain about you when it them you want to complain about Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Bro Lamts18, how abt I was walking away from the putting green (Par 3) then one golfer from the flight behind teeoff and the ball fell into the water hazard which is about 20mtr from me?

Does this also consider as dangerous play?

Definitely dangerous play! On a Par 3, no one should tee off until golfers have left the green and totally clear of golfers, if it's call-on-hole, the players at the tee box will be signaled to play their tee shot! Mad Mad Mad

If the matter goes before the DC and not resolved properly or there is a cover up, we can always write to ST Forum and the SGA ..

Today my golf kakis and his wife played NSRCC 715am morning slot, they were early and on time. The other two match ball players were very late, so was told by the marshal to tee off as the other two ball match was not there.

When they reach their 1st shot, they heard shouting from the teebox as the other two player arrived and waving them to come back. My friend and his wife drove back and half way the man player teeoff and they saw the ball whizzed past them. The man said he is a golf pro and the lady some golf club committee person. Must WAIT for them to arrive !!!!! Mad

UL

scratch study

Both are not wrong. They are FReaking WRONG. Who they think they are ?
What is the Marshal or starter doing ?
He should write a report to the DC and report this incident.

In this instance, the starter is partly to be blamed.

I have one similar encounter. The two late comers join the other two at the fairway on the advise of the starter.

If it is Weekend two players can't even tee off.

If he is a Pro and he still do this, then he shouldn't be a golf pro. First, coming late to a game. He should know better than being late. Nevermind that, taking a drive when there is incoming traffic, this is totally bad. If he is PGA member, he should go back and take his Etiquette test again.
