My 2013 Goal : Break 80 at Palm Villa Blue Tee

Yo bro SteveS please don't give up so easy....you are still at your prime of life. If don't succeed now or this year...there is another year or tomorrow. I speak for myself. I been playing like shit all this years but i never give up...i make lots of friends along the way. Because of them i will never give up my golf.

Golfing is soo difficult....

I think I will set this target to 2014 December...

Doubt I can make any progress this year... always playing at 10x to 12x... very very inconsistent... SIGH!!! break 100 also got problem..

There are things you should aim high but not golf, in golf you aim low....

1) go to a coach to fashion a consistent swing if you have not done so; after that, hit the driving range at least twice a week; the worst thing you can do now is to try to tweak your swing on your own

2) learn a short game technique, either from a coach or attend some chipping clinic; MGK frequently organise chipping clinic; after that, practice chipping every week

3) practice putting; most importantly on putting matt at home everyday

once you achieve a relatively consistent swing, you should start tracking your play so that you can spend more effort on areas that require significant improvement. below is a sample of how my friend tracks his games.

ps this is not my score; i usually play around 100.

 WOW! First time I see this...this method of tracking is really good.. Thanks a lot ZX! While I working on my swing, I think is still good to track using this method to identify the weakness

Your burning desire to get better is so much stronger than most starters to the game.

Just dun let this flame die off even when the chips are down

Try to look at more fundamentally good swings .. You are quite new to the game so yr mind will most likely be more easily infected and replicate what u see ..... Try to erase those bad ones and only rem the good ones

Be it at the tee box or range

SIGH... stop for 3 to 4 months because of work commitment...
will reschedule to 2014....else i will quit golf on 2014...break all my clubs and dump them into Palm Villa Pond..

I lagi sigh........ used to play 3/4 times a week.
Now only can play 2/3 times a week.....  

Also 4 / 5 times a week for driving range (during the evening time).   

Hope I can play better in golf lor.....

i also hope can play better but seems like can't get the consistency and when projects came in i will have to stop...

All previous kaki or playing at below 90 and I'm still playing 11x
