| Recently, I read from a golf publication that when you swing a driver, the most important swing thought is to hold your finish. Due to my driver short distance, I always want to swing hard. And when I swing hard, the momentum stops after impact. I was told by many good players that I need to follow through, same term as holding my finish. Now I'm trying to relearn how to pose at the end of the swing with good balance like someone is taking a picture of me. I know the theory but my mind just refuse to co-operate I've to remind myself constantly to swing within my comfort zone and learn the proper way to finish. Do you guys have the same problem? | |

Bro, you swing too hard lah. And when u swing too hard, your hands will be tighten and hence you freeze after impact.....resulting you not to have a good follow thru. A 80% effort on the centre of the club face will be much better than a 100% effort that lands OB. Try this swing thot, aim to have the shaft of the club touch your back at the end of the swing...... Look at Golfman, he has a very good finish and he dun muscle the ball

which is why his cabinet is filled with trophies..... If so many pros said so, will try to end the shaft touching my back.

You must feel that the swing is smooth and complete at the top... not after impact and your hand lift the club to complete the swing... I hope you can understand what I am saying.
